Fixed Lump Sum - Design & ConstructCreating a community hub for local sports and connection in the heart of Dingley
The Wyndham Cultural Centre has been serving the Werribee and western suburbs community since 2001. More than just a venue, it has been a hub for reflection, celebration, and connection – a true home for the arts and theatre. The centre features a 492-seat theatre, art gallery, library, and back-of-house amenities, supporting year-round productions and community events.
Alchemy was engaged to revitalise the Cultural Centre, creating a space that better meets the needs of exhibiting artists, audiences, facility users, and the wider Wyndham community.
The works included an internal upgrade of the foyer with a refreshed box office, refurbished gallery spaces, a new visual art collection space, relocated staff administration areas, and upgraded bar and toilet amenities.
Additional asset improvements were also delivered, including a new direct library entry from Wedge Street, theatre seating repairs, and servicing of the roof and HVAC units.
