Alchemy Construct undertook the redevelopment of the Point Cook Community Learning Centre which sought to improve existing Council operations and provide space for expansion to meet demands on existing services delivered to the local community. The upgrade delivers more space for learning activities, new meeting and study rooms with effective separation of ‘noisy’ and ‘quiet’ activity zones. The Library expansion includes a new silent study space, group study rooms and a large activity zone, as supported by the Victorian Government’s “Living Libraries Infrastructure Program”. Fresh landscaping also creates spaces that connect to the nearby wetlands and provides a modern and calming sense of arrival for the Point Cook community.
