Project Update — Big Build, Little Boots: A School Visit to Our Big Housing Build Site

Recently, we were delighted to welcome 18 Grade 3 students from Tate Street School to our neighbouring Big Housing Build site.

It was such a special opportunity for the students to step inside a live construction environment and see, first-hand, how the homes are taking shape around them.

Watching their excitement and curiosity grow as they explored the site was a reminder of the impact these moments can have.

Throughout the visit, the students met our team, walked the site and asked thoughtful, imaginative questions about construction, design and how people work together to bring a project to life. The day was filled with curiosity, laughter, and genuine connection – it was incredibly rewarding to share our work with young minds who are already thinking about how their communities are shaped.

Experiences like this help build strong relationships with local schools, create understanding about what’s happening in the neighbourhood and inspire young minds to see themselves in an industry that thrives on teamwork, creativity and care.
